Well, it has been a good, yet challenging, weekend for Casey and her family. They have been faced with lots of memories and challenges settling in to the house in Casper. They spent time going through several boxes and even watching some home movies of Ellie and Shane, which has given them opportunity to laugh and cry together.
-Charles and Cathy left early this morning for Denver where he caught a flight back to Arkansas and Cathy went home. Casey and her mom are still in Casper.
-Casey and Cherry went to church this morning at First Southern. She says it was so good to be back in church, and that the service and Pastor Rob’s message were very uplifting for her. Everything fit together to really speak to her and bring her great encouragement.
-She will be starting some physical therapy in Casper this week to continue work toward her recovery.
-Several have asked about visits. Casey is ready now to begin to receive visitors that would like to come by to see her. If you would like to visit you should call ahead and schedule a time, so as not to interrupt her routine and to make sure she will be home. Those wishing to visit can call the WSBC office, Monday through Thursday, between 8:30am and 5:00pm to get a phone number where Casey can be reached. You can then set up a good time with her for a visit, and get directions to the house.
Please continue to support Casey in at least these ways:
** Please pray for the transitions that fill her every day, and for the therapy she will continue this week - physical pain is still a real challenge.
** The grief of her losses is very real and deep, please continue to pray for physical, emotional and spiritual strength.
** There are still many decisions to be made in these days concerning short and long term plans, so pray for wisdom and discernment.
** Please pray for God’s complete provision for all of Casey’s needs in the weeks and months ahead.
