Great news today. This morning they put the back/body brace on Casey and she sat up in a chair for about 10 minutes. It was difficult for her and tired her out pretty quick, but they were at least able to get that process started. Then, Praise the Lord, they were able to move her out of ICU and into a regular room! Obviously, all this moving around has taken its toll on her energy and has been very uncomfortable - so pray for a good rest this evening and tonight. Please continue to pray for rapid healing of broken bones, as well as for a constant sense of God’s peace and comfort in the grief of this tremendous loss. Tomorrow they will continue to try to get her up some more. The body brace stays on almost all the time. They will also do some evaluation about the need for the chest tube and when to remove it. Pray for wisdom for the doctors and all those who attend her physical needs. Please continue your prayer for her and the family to have strength and wisdom at every point of decision. Mail to Casey and her parents should still go the hospital, but to her new room: Casey Ewen - Room 530 St. Vincent Healthcare P.O. Box 35200 Billings , MT 59107-5200 The family is so appreciative of all your thoughts and prayers, and your support means so much to them all. God bless you as you continue to minister to this family, and as we continue to pray that He bless Casey with continued confidence in Him that brings her strength, peace, hope, and His felt presence with her each day.
